Just a Walk

   The last few days of class is always the perfect time is always the perfect time for a walk with the roomie down Main St. and take pictures.  I found this guy on the road behind the dorm.  He's been there for awhile, but this is the first time I've taken a picture of him.
   He has a neighbor as well (I didn't take a picture of it) He was even more beat up than this guy, only his legs were left.  These two always make me think of what they have been through... I'm sure they'd have some interesting stories to tell.

The First Step.

   So, I have started a new project.  And I have named it The Broken Project.  Basically I will find and take pictures (or document in some way) objects and things that aren't quite all the way there.  For example, the sock above that has inspired this whole thing.  Usually socks are in pairs, this one has lost its pair.  That is its story, I went into the bathroom this afternoon, and there it was.  Its story is that it has inspired me to do something, it is the first step one this journey.

  

I'm excited to see where this project takes me and I can't wait to tell the stories that go along with them.
